    Application Procedures
    This checklist is for opening a securities account. To open a Forex account, please go to Forex Account Application Procedures.

    1. Print this checklist: This checklist will guide you through the process to ensure that you have completed all the necessary steps.
    2. Choose the service that suits your need: Choose one of the services below and follow the appropriate instructions. If you need help choosing a service, visit our Products & Services page for details or call our investment specialists at 1-888-882-8856 or 1-415-901-0322.
    • Full Service: You need to choose a broker first. Go to find a branch or call our client support team for a referral.
    • Telephone Discount Services: Follow steps 3 through 6 below to obtain an application package.
    • Online Trading: Visit MarkeTrade.com for the details about opening an account online or by mail.
    3. Apply online or by mail: To request an application package, call us, or send us your request by e-mail. You may also online request an application package.
    4. Print and sign all necessary forms: Be sure to sign the application where indicated. Your account application cannot be processed without your signature(s).

    • Check: We accept personal checks, and cashier's checks only under account holder's name and drawn on a U.S. bank. Please make all checks payable to Ridge Clearing, and write your White Pacific account number on your check.

    • Certificate: Stock certificates must be endorsed exactly as they are registered on the face of each certificate.
    • Transfer: An account transfer from another brokerage firm must be accompanied by a copy of your latest statement. Your name(s) and tax identification number(s) must match exactly with that at your prior brokerage.
    6. Mail: Review the account check list to make sure you have completed all of the required steps. Send all the required documents along with your check and/or securities to:
